9380 ABSTRACT A kit of parts for tapping selected contacts of an electrical connector comprises a plug which can be plugged into a cavity of a multi-contact receptacle connector, to engage selected contacts thereof, to tap selected wires of a telephone cable terminated to the connector. So that the plug is correctly guided and supported in the cavity without modification of the connector, the kit also comprises a face plate securable to the connector and a socket which can be clipped over the face plate and which has a through cavity for receiving the plug to support and guide it. The plug is connected to tap wires and is latched into the socket to constitute a module.
