ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A storage container for generally flat kitchen items such as coasters and place mats comprised of a generally rectangular box container having dual longitudinal cut-outs on the upper and lower surface of one front wall such that boards and the like may be inserted through the top opening and removed through the bottom opening in a first in, first out sequence. Several finger cut outs are incorporated into both the bottom wall and front wall of the container to provide purchase for the removal of individual boards. A mounting bracket spans the width of the container, is affixed to the sides of the container and serves to mount the container to the flat underside of a kitchen cupboard.
