ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A kite has a solid body of varying thickness with an aerofoil profile formed on each of its upper and lower surfaces and is symmetrical about two axial planes, one which divides the upper and lower surfaces and the other of which is normal thereto. A slot forward of a centre line of the body has a clip to which a tow line can be connected and a tail passes through another slot adjacent the rear of the body, both slots being transverse to and symmetrical about a longitudinal axis of the body. The tail has two ends which pass over the top and bottom surfaces of the body and are retained on a cylindrical end por- tion of the body.
