T I T L E KLYSTRON-ACCELERATOR SYSTEM I N V E N T O R STANLEY O. SCHRIBER A B S T R A C T O F T H E D I S C L O S U R E A klystron-accelerator system in which the klystron cavity is used as an integral element in the accelerating structure is described. In one system, two linear accelerating sections are mounted on a common axis to define a particle beam path. The klystron output cavity is coupled to the accelerating sections by means of two coupling cells, exciting the accelerating sections in the 1/2 standing wave mode.
