KNEE BRACE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A knee brace includes inner and outer bracing struc- tures, each comprising a first substantially rigid generally planar and elongated arm bifurcated at one end to provide gener- ally parallel plate portions, and a second substantially rigid generally planar and elongated arm, having an end portion received between the plate portions for sliding articular motion of the second part relative to the first arm coplanar with the plate portions. A strap is attached at two points to each arm of the inner leg bracing structure generally perpendicular thereto and encircles the leg to be secured at two points to the corresponding arm of the outer leg bracing structure.
