A skin pinch guard is provided to prevent pinching of skin between a boot and the lower portion of a knee brace. The skin pinch guard (200) includes a pair of fasteners (215) for removably attaching it to the lower cuff (140) of the knee brace (100). The skin pinch guard also preferably includes a plurality of fingers (230) that extend into the boot so that the boot slides on the guard.
