ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dynamometer for determining the magnitude and direction of an applied force includes three spaced beams and supports on each of the beams. A platform is disposed on and supported by the supports for receiving and being deflected by an applied force so that the deflection of the platform is transmitted to the beams to cause deflection of the beams. A deflection of the beams is measured in two directions. The beams are arranged such that no two redundant directions of deflection of the beams are permissible.
