A method of determining the shape of a knitting pattern (Figure 2e) for continuous knitting of a three dimensional weft knitted object (10) having a two dimensional development (Figure 2c) in which at least one pair of edges (B,C) to be knitted together have a large angle ( ? ) therebetween in excess of x° where x° is the maximum knittable angle between edges for the particular application of the cover. The method produces a cover having distinct sutures including a first suture (27)(28) formed from knitting together two edges (13)(14) with two sutures (36)(38) extending from one end of the first suture (27)(28) to intersect another suture (37)(39) extending from the other end of the first suture (27)(28) at a point (P2).
L'invention concerne une méthode permettant de déterminer la forme d'un motif de tricot (Figure 2e) pour le tricotage en continu d'un objet tridimensionnel tricoté trame (10) ayant un développement bidimensionnel (Figure 2c) dans lequel au moins une paire de bords (B,C) à tricoter ensemble sont écartés d'un grand angle (?) de plus de x.degrés, où x.degrés représentent l'angle maximal tricotable entre les bords pour l'application particulière de la couverture. La méthode produit une couverture ayant des sutures distinctes, incluant une première suture (27)(28) formée en tricotant ensemble deux bords (13)(14) avec deux sutures (36)(38) s'étendant d'une extrémité de la première suture (27)(28) de manière qu'elle coupe une autre suture (37)(39) s'étendant de l'autre extrémité de la première suture (27)(28) en un point (P2).
