Non-human mammals and their progenies comprising an integrin alpha10 gene, integrin alpha11 gene, or both genes are provided, wherein at least a part of the integrin alpha10 gene, the integrin alpha11 gene, or both genes, of said non-human mammal and its progeny has/have been replaced with a DNA sequence comprising at least a portion of one exon of the integrin alpha10 coding sequence, the integrin alpha11 coding sequence, or both coding sequences, linked to a selection marker sequence. Also included are methods for generating said non-human mammals with a disrupted alpha10 gene, a disrupted alpha11 gene or both genes disrupted, as well as the use of said non-human mammals.
L'invention concerne des mammifères non humains et leurs descendances contenant au moins un gène codant pour l'alpha 10 intégrine, un gène codant pour l'alpha 11 intégrine ou les deux gènes, au moins une partie du gène codant pour l'alpha 10 intégrine, le gène codant pour l'alpha 11 intégrine ou les deux gènes de ce mammifère non humain et de sa descendance a/ont été remplacé(s) par la séquence d'ADN contenant au moins une partie d'un exon de la séquence codante pour l'alpha 10 intégrine, la séquence codante pour l'alpha 11 intégrine ou des deux séquences codantes, liées à une séquence marqueur de sélection. L'invention concerne également la génération de ces mammifères non humaines par un gène codant pour l'alpha 10 interrompu, un gène codant pour l'alpha 11 interrompu ou les deux gènes interrompus ainsi que l'utilisation de ces mammifères non humains.
