A bulb for bingo boards and other gaming machines, comprising of a base, circuit board, light emitting diodes and a current limiting circuit. The circuit board is positioned and attached perpendicularly in front of the base with leds attached by soldering to circuit board and are positioned pointing 90 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis of the base. Angle of the leds also vary in either direction of the normal position for greater dispersion of light and depending on application, in which the normal position is 90 degrees relative to the base. A current limiting device is placed in the base and or the face of the circuit board.
