A label manufactured from a rectangular base layer comprises a hanger as an integral part which is defined by a die cut line extending along most part of the perimeter between the two roots at which the hanger remains joined with the remaining central main portion of the label. The roots have a mutual distance of half a perimeter of the bottle to be labeled and the total length of the label is preferably approximately equal to the perimeter of the bottle. Preferably, one of the two roots is located near the leading edge of the label when it is applied to the bottle by an automatic dispenser. The label provides a large surface for printed information which is not interrupted by the hanger. A booklet may be attached to the label.

L'invention concerne une étiquette constituée d'une couche de base (2) rectangulaire, qui comporte une bride de suspension (8) formée en monobloc et définie par une ligne découpée (7). La ligne découpée (7) s'étend sur la plus grande partie de la périphérie entre deux racines (16) qui la relient au corps (2b) de l'étiquette. Les racines (16) sont écartées d'une distance égale à la moitié de la circonférence de la bouteille à étiqueter, et la longueur totale de l'étiquette est de préférence égale à environ la circonférence de ladite bouteille. De préférence, une des deux racines se trouve à proximité du bord antérieur de l'étiquette quand celle-ci est posée sur une bouteille (15) par un dispositif d'application automatique. L'étiquette présente une grande surface qui n'est pas interrompue par la bride de suspension (8) et sur laquelle on peut inscrire des informations. Une brochure (22) peut être fixée sur l'étiquette.
