INKING SYSTEM FOR LABEL PRINTER Abstract of the Disclosure The application discloses a labeling apparatus with a frame or housing, a removable print head mounted by the frame, an inking mechanism driven by the print head, a mechanism for driving the print head, the inking mechanism including a traveling ink roller having an ink-receptive roll and a bearing roll at each end of the rink-receptive roll, means for guiding the ink roller during its travel means removably mounting the ink roller to the frame and means for biasing the ink roller toward the print head with the print head having bearing surfaces on which the bearing rollers roll as the ink-receptive roll inks the print head.
