The present invention is in the field of diagnostic imaging. In one aspect, the invention relates to novel imaging agents comprising synthetic macrophage scavenger receptor A antagonists, said imaging agents being useful in the diagnostic imaging of cardiovascular disease. Also claimed in the present invention is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the novel imaging agents of the invention, said pharmaceutical composition being useful for the diagnostic imaging of cardiovascular disease in humans. Another aspect of the present invention is a kit useful in the preparation of the pharmaceutical composition of the invention. Furthermore, the use of the imaging agent of the invention for the diagnostic imaging of cardiovascular disease is also claimed.
La présente invention relève du domaine de l'imagerie diagnostique. Dans un aspect, l'invention a trait à de nouveaux agents d'imagerie comprenant des antagonistes des récepteurs éboueurs des macrophages de classe A synthétiques, lesdits agents d'imagerie étant utiles pour l'imagerie diagnostique de maladies cardiovasculaires. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique contenant les nouveaux agents d'imagerie selon l'invention, ladite composition pharmaceutique étant utile pour l'imagerie diagnostique de maladies cardiovasculaires chez les êtres humains. Dans un autre aspect, l'invention se rapport à un kit utile pour la préparation de la composition pharmaceutique selon l'invention. L'invention concerne enfin l'utilisation de l'agent d'imagerie selon l'invention pour l'imagerie diagnostique de maladies cardiovasculaires.
