A method of imaging a target site in an animal's body in which a labelled CC chemokine or Monocyte Attractant Protein (MCP) material is introduced into the animal's body and allowed to accumulate at a target site which includes MCP receptor molecules. The accumulated, labelled MCP material is then detected so as to image the target site of the body.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'imagerie d'un site cible dans le corps d'un mammifère, lequel consiste à introduire une chimiokine CC ou une protéine d'attraction de monocytes (MCP) marquée dans le corps d'un animal et à la laisser s'accumuler au niveau d'un site cible comprenant des molécules réceptrices de MCP. La matière de MCP accumulée, marquée est ensuite détectée afin de produire une image du site cible du corps.
