ABSTRACT The invention relates to a labelling machine for bottles or the like with at least one labelling station having devices for gluing, stocking and transferring labels and wherein in addition to the swivelling capacity of the labelling station, the station for transferring labels (i.e. the gripper cylinder 14) opposite the labelling station (8) may be swivelled. Swivelling the labelling station occurs under large gearing with the aid of a handwheel (31) disposed on the free end of a projecting support and fixedly supported via a slot and tenon guidance (32) and a strap (33). After swivelling the labelling station, the necessary correction adjustment of the gripper cylinder takes place, after loosening a coupling and a clamping device, with the aid of dials with marking attachments which are likewise provided in a similar manner on the handwheel.
