ABSTRACT In this labelling tag for electrical wires, with a hollow profile carrier with a base area (1), sidewalls (2) and an upper labelling area (3), a clamping tongue (4) is moulded by one end onto the base area (1), whilst its other unattached clamping end extends obliquely inwards and upwards to the labelling surface (3) such that it lies approximately opposite the centre area of the labelling surface (3) and has a curved clamping zone, the curvature of which is oriented upwards. Electrical wires of very different diameters can be inserted into the hollow profile and pushed through this, whereupon they deflect the clamping tongue (4) so as to achieve a good clamping force.
