Abstract The labelling tag has a C-shaped rigid carrier (1, 2) that fits beneath the electrical wire (3) once it has been installed. The mouth of the carrier piece is closed off by an additional arm (4) that incorporates, in its turn, an elastically hinged two-arm stirrup (5a, 5b) of which one arm (5a) acts on the electrical wire as a clamping piece and by so doing presses the other arm (5b) into the closed position on the lower edge of the mouth.
