The invention relates to a laboratory apparatus for simultaneously carrying out reactions in a plurality of samples which are arranged in an array, comprising an illumination device, which emits illumination light onto the samples, comprising a detection device, which generates a signal dependent on the light intensity of the light coming from the samples, wherein the detection device forwards the signal to an evaluation device, and comprising a monitoring device for checking the functioning of the illumination device, and is characterized in that the illumination device has a plurality of light- emitting diodes assigned in each case to one of the samples, and the monitoring device has electrical devices which can be used to perform an electrical functional check of the light-emitting diodes, where the monitoring device is furthermore embodied for generating a signal when a functional disturbance of a light-emitting diode is ascertained.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de laboratoire pour réaliser simultanément des réactions dans plusieurs échantillons disposés en réseau, ce dispositif comprenant un dispositif d'éclairage qui envoie de la lumière sur les échantillons et un dispositif de détection qui génère un signal dépendant de l'intensité lumineuse de la lumière provenant des échantillons et qui envoie le signal à un dispositif d'évaluation, ainsi qu'un dispositif de surveillance pour vérifier le fonctionnement du dispositif d'éclairage. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le dispositif d'éclairage comprend plusieurs diodes électroluminescentes associées chacune à un des échantillons, et le dispositif de surveillance comporte des installations électriques qui permettent de vérifier le fonctionnement électrique des diodes électroluminescentes, ce dispositif de surveillance générant un signal lorsqu'une panne est détectée dans une diode électroluminescente.
