-12- Abstract of the Disclosure An encircling lacrosse stick frame has a lip member transverse to an elongated central axis with a throat opposite the lip. First and second opposed sidewall members extend between the lip and throat. The sidewall members define therebetween a second area toward the throat having a width less than a first area of the frame with the second width area being dimensioned to snugly receive a lacrosse stick ball therebetween so as to enhance positioning of the ball and thus enhance throwing characteristics. The sidewalls are pinched in toward each other.
