A lactic acid derivative having an aminoethyl group at an end; and a process for producing the derivative. The derivative is a compound represented by the formula (1) or a salt thereof: (1) wherein R represents hydrogen or an amino- protecting group; X represents hydrogen or a hydroxy-protecting group; Y represents -O- or -S-; and Z represents an aliphatic group, aryl, heterocyclic group, -CO-, or a combination thereof, provided that these groups may have a substituent.

La présente invention se rapporte à un dérivé de l'acide lactique qui renferme un groupe aminoéthyle à une extrémité, et à un procédé de production dudit dérivé. Le dérivé de l'invention est un composé représenté par la formule (1) ou un sel de ce dernier : dans laquelle R représente un hydrogène ou un groupe protecteur d'amines ; X représente un hydrogène ou un groupe protecteur d'hydroxy ; Y représente O- ou S- ; et Z représente un groupe aliphatique, un aryle, un groupe hétérocyclique, -CO-, ou une combinaison des ces derniers, à condition que ces groupes puissent avoir un substituant.
