Disclosed herein is a holder assembly for use with a pair of ladder stabilizers, each having a pair of legs to stabilize an extension ladder, the holder assembly comprising a tray for receiving articles to be carried; coupling means to couple the tray to two of the legs, wherein the coupling means are arranged to orient the tray in a generally horizontal orientation when the extension ladder is in an operative position. Also disclosed is a ladder installation using the holder assembly.
