Form 24 ABSTRACT of the DISCLOSURE A platform for enabling persons to more stably stand on step ladders having a platform and two hinged downwardly articulating arms. The platform comprises rung notches on either side for securely retaining it to one ladder rung. Said hinged articulating arms are each fitted with a rung notch at or near their distal ends from their hinged end in such a position as to ensure correct angularity for level positioning or alternately adjustable angularity by means of incremental, mechanically positioned reliefs or projections interiorly and longitudinally along the length of said articulating arms. -1-
