ABSTRACT The invention is a ladder restraining device which may be affixed to a position on the outer surface of an upright structure for receiving the upper end of a ladder. The upper end of a ladder so received is thereby restrained against lateral and outward movement relative to the structure. The device may be formed by suitable bending of a piece of sheet metal or similar material.
