Form 24 (57) ABSTRACT This invention is intended to add support to existing conventional wood/aluminum extension ladders for the purpose of ladder stabilization and protection of gutters/fascias that the ladder would otherwise lean directly against. Currently, conventional extension ladders are placed leaning against gutters or the sides of walls. When a ladder is thus placed against the gutter/fascia, the gutter/fascia itself is subject to the leaning pressure of the ladder and the person on it, thus giving way to the possibility of damaging the gutter/fascia. In addition, the ladder may slip sideways because only two points of the ladder are pressed against a surface; therefore any lateral movement or leaning back done by a worker on the ladder may cause the ladder to slip or topple, possibly leading to personal injury. To prevent damage to the gutter/fascia and to the worker, the ladder support can be attached to the top of a conventional extension ladder, thereby spacing it out from the gutter/fascia while rubber footings provide additional stability to the ladder against slippage.
