A laminar structure comprised of at least one layer of glass and a sheet of plasticized PVB containing an adhesion control agent is provided wherein pin point pockets of air which are entrapped in said sheet coalesce and cause delamination of said structure, delayed delamination and associated defects are prevented by adding a nucleating agent with the plasticized PVB by coating the sheet or glass surface with a nucleating agent, by extruding the PVB sheet with the nucleating agent in the composition, or by forming the nucleating agent in situ during the extrusion or lamination process.

L'invention porte sur une structure laminée consistant en au moins une couche de verre et une couche de polyvinylbutyral (PVB) plastifié contenant un agent de contrôle d'adhérence et des microbulles d'air noyées qui en coalesçant entraînent le délaminage de ladite structure. On élimine les retards de délaminage et les défauts associés par adjonction au PVB plastifié d'un agent de nucléation recouvrant la surface de la couche de PVB ou du verre, puis extrusion de la couche de PVB avec l'agent de nucléation, ou dépôt de l'agent de nucléation in situ pendant le processus d'extrusion ou de laminage.
