LAMINATE FILM HAVING A THERMOSETTING RESIN LAYER AND USE THEREOF FOR FORMING ELECTRICALLY INSULATING LAYER OVER CONDUCTING SURFACE Abstract A laminate film is disclosed which includes a substrate film and a thermosetting resin film formed of a thermosetting epoxy resin and supported on one side surface of the substrate film. An electrically insulating layer is formed over a conducting surface using the laminate film by a method which includes the steps of hot bonding the thermosetting resin film to the conducting surface, removing the substrate film, and curing the thermosetting resin film to form the insulating layer of the cured epoxy resin.
