A laminate panel is described. The panel comprises. A core layer disposed between and bonded to each of a first metal layer and a second metal layer. The core layer comprises a fibrous layer, a first adhesive layer interposed between the first metal layer and a fibrous layer, and a second adhesive layer interposed between the second metal layer and the fibrous layer. The first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer each comprise a thermoplastic resin. The panel is useful, inter alia, in structural applications (e.g., office building walls and the like) and non- structural applications (e.g., vehicular body panels and the like).
