ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided a strip or web-like pliable laminated body made of rubber or rubber-like elastomeric material having metal reinforcing plies, e.g. a conveyor belt reinforced with steel wires, embedded therein and extending substantially longitudinally therethrough, in which the metal reinforcing plies are coated with a flowable anti-corrosion agent, said agent comprising a component of the elastomeric material mixture used for the laminated body.
