ABSTRACT A sealable laminated material which consists of an outer thermoplastic layer with a lamination layer arranged adjoining the said layer containing fine-grain carbon material, so-called carbon black, and a binder. The laminated material moreover may contain a carrier layer of e.g. paper, cardboard or plastic mate- rial. The outer thermoplastic layer of the laminated material which is intended to act as a sealing layer, can be heated up to sealing temperature in that heat is generated in the adjoining layer containing powdered coal when the latter is subjected to the effect of a high-frequency electric field.
