Disclosed is a laminated optical device assembly having a template which both restrains an optical device and provides a safe bending radius about which to mount fiber optic cables emanating from the device. The assembly is adapted for field assembly to assist a craftsperson with the placement and protection of fragile fiber optic cables. The template is adhesivey bonded between a bottom and a top to provide a robust assembly which is further incorporated into an optical device housing.
L'invention est un dispositif optique stratifié comportant un gabarit qui retient un dispositif optique et procure un rayon de courbure sûr sur lequel on peut monter les câbles de fibres optiques qui émergent de lui. Ce dispositif est conçu pour être assemblé sur place et aider un artisan à mettre en place et à protéger les câbles de fibres optiques. Le gabarit est collé entre deux pièces servant de dessus et de dessous de façon à former un ensemble robuste qui est incorporé au boîtier du dispositif optique.
