ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In an end-plate-less formed pole (1) for electric machines with salient poles, combined clamping and sup- port elements (26, 27) which are used both for clamping together the single laminations (2) and for supporting the pole coils (41) are provided in the area close to the axis, in addition to the conventional clamping elements (8, 10). In addition, these elements are used for anchor- ing the damper plates (44, 45) and flexible link pieces (46) of the damper rods (43). (Fig. 1)
