ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An adhesively laminated wood board having high resistance to deflection is comprised of a solid wood core and a cover layer at each face of the core In a preferred embodiment, there are two laminae in each cover layer, the laminae having all the same direction of wood grain which is transverse to that of the core.
