ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An aqueous laminating adhesive composition for wet lamination of substrates to form a laminated article includes about 40 weight percent to about65 weight percent solids dispersed in an aqueous medium, wherein the solids include about 20 weight percent to about 80 weight percent of a polymer having a glass transition temperature from about -15°C to about -40°C wherein the polymer is selected from the group consisting of acrylic polymers and vinyl ester polymers; about 2 to about 20 weight percent of a plasticizer compound; and from about 5 weight percent to about 50 weight percent of a tackifier compound.
