A lamp socket assembly includes a socket shell having a positive contact metal plate and a negative contact metal plate, a socket cap fastened to said socket shell to hold down an electrical wire causing said positive and negative contact metal plates to make respective contact with either conductor of said electrical wire, wherein the positive contact metal plate has an arched contact portion projecting into a center opening on a top end of the socket shell to make an electrical contact with the tip contact of the lamp bulb being fastened to the socket shell, a triangular contact portion pierces into the insulator of the electrical wire to make an electrical contact, and a rectangular mounting portion fitted into a retaining hole on the top end of the socket shell.
Douille de lampe comprenant une enveloppe avec plaques métalliques pour contacts électriques négatif et positif, capuchon de douille fixé à ladite enveloppe de douille afin de maintenir un fil électrique grâce auquel les plaques métalliques pour contacts négatif et positif assurent respectivement les contacts aux conducteurs négatif et positif du fil électrique, où la plaque métallique de contact positif comporte une partie de contact en forme d'arc se projetant dans une ouverture centrale à l'extrémité supérieure de l'enveloppe de douille afin d'établir un contact électrique avec l'extrémité de la lampe qui est fixée à l'enveloppe de la douille, une partie de contact triangulaire perce l'isolateur du fil électrique pour établir un contact électrique, et une partie de montage rectangulaire adaptée à un orifice de retenue à l'extrémité supérieure de l'enveloppe de douille.
