A metallurgical lance for injecting particulate material into a liquid comprises a main gas tube (6) defining an axial main gas passage terminating at its outlet and in a first Laval nozzle (38) downstream of the throat of said nozzle. A shrouding gas passage in the form of a combustion chamber (36) surrounds the main gas tube and terminates in a second Laval nozzle (42). A particulate material transport tube (4) defines a passage for the particulate material to be introduced into the first Laval nozzle (38) downstream of its throat. The first Laval nozzle (38) is provided with a passage (40) for the flow of coolant.

La présente invention se rapporte à une lance métallurgique permettant d'injecter une matière particulaire dans un liquide. Cette lance comporte un tube à gaz principal (6) définissant un passage à gaz principal axial se terminant au niveau de son orifice de sortie et dans une première tuyère de Laval (38) en aval du col de ladite tuyère. Un passage à gaz enveloppant se présentant sous la forme d'une chambre de combustion (36) entoure le tube à gaz principal et se termine dans une seconde tuyère de Laval (42). Un tube de transport de la matière particulaire (4) définit un passage pour ladite matière particulaire devant être introduite dans la première tuyère de Laval (38) en aval de son col. La première tuyère de Laval (38) est dotée d'un passage (40) permettant l'écoulement d'un fluide caloporteur.
