A landscape contouring and raking apparatus which uses a special attachment to the bucket of a hydraulic excavation type machine which controls a crusher grid screen of varying sizes, which have four inch square openings or some other suitable mesh size and which attaches to a oscillating rectangular box tray which moves the screen relative to the soil under the screen. The linear motion can be in a lengthwise direction of the screen, by a orbital crank drive, with a hydraulic or gas engine, with a center pivot point and a four way universal joint attachment which allows the screen to have a controlled but limited motion in the horizontal or inclined plane to suit the condition of the ground which is being contoured. The screen grid can be rotated in a semi-circle around the machine as the machine travels which gives a large unobstructed work area or it can be used in a specific area which is determined by the dipper stick arm which can also exert down pressure to the screen grid and into the top layers of top soil in the landscaping area to level and shape the ground as the operator so desires without the edges of the screen digging into any vertical surfaces which would cause the screen to bend or dig in an uncontrolled manner. The screen works the top soil by the arm movement and also the directional oscillation of the screen.
