Abstract Of The Disclosure A skin treatment composition contains from about 10 to about 90 parts by weight of lanolin and from about 90 to 10 parts by weight of at least one ester of a lanolin acid. Preferably, a lower alkyl ester of lanolin fatty acids is utilized, e.g., isopropyl lanolate. The composition finds particular utility in the prevention or treatment of adverse skin reactions in radia- tion therapy.
