In a synthetic porous crystalline material having the structure of ZSM-5 and a composition involving the molar relationship: X2O3:(n)YO2, wherein X is a trivalent element; Y is a tetravalent element; and n is greater than about 12, the crystals have a major dimension of at least about 0.5 micron and surface framework YO2/X2O3 ratio which is no more than 20 % less than the bulk framework YO2/X2O3 ratio of the crystal. The material is synthesized using an amino-acid as a directing agent.
L'invention concerne un matériau critallin poreux synthétique présentant la structure de ZSM-5 et une composition faisant intervenir la relation molaire: X2O3:(n)YO2, dans laquelle X est un élément trivalent, Y est un élement tétravalent, et n est supérieur à environ 12. Les cristaux présentent une dimension principale d'au moins environ 0,5 micron et un rapport YO2/X2O3 de squelette de surface qui est au maximum de 20 % inférieur au rapport YO2/X2O3 de squelette en masse du cristal. Ce matériau est synthétisé à l'aide d'un aminoacide comme agent d'orientation.
