The invention relates to a projection system (2) consisting of: a polychromatic light source (400); and at least one imaging assembly which is illuminated by an associated polychromatic light beam, said assembly comprising (i) two different colour wheels (41, 42), known as the first and second colour wheels respectively, and (ii) three different imagers (414, 424, 434), known as the first, second and third imagers respectively. According to the invention, at least one part of the polychromatic beam, known as the source beam (400) illuminates the first colour wheel which separates the source beam into a first monochrome beam (411) and a two-colour beam (410), said first monochrome beam illuminating the first imager and the two-colour beam being transmitted towards the second colour wheel. The second colour wheel is illuminated by the two-colour beam and separates said beam into second (421) and third (420) monochrome beams which illuminate the second and third imagers respectively.
L'invention concerne un système de projection (2) comprenant une source lumineuse polychromatique (400), et au moins un ensemble d'imagerie éclairé par un faisceau d'illumination polychromatique associé, et comprenant deux roues colorées distinctes (41, 42), dites respectivement première et seconde roue colorées ; et trois imageurs distincts (414, 424, 434), dits respectivement premier, second et troisième imageurs ; au moins une partie du faisceau polychromatique, dite premier faisceau source (400), éclairant la première roue colorée qui sépare le faisceau source en un premier faisceau monochrome (411) et en un faisceau bicolore (410), ledit premier faisceau monochrome éclairant le premier imageur et le faisceau bicolore étant transmis vers la seconde roue colorée ; et la seconde roue colorée étant éclairée par le faisceau bicolore et séparant ledit faisceau bicolore en des second (421) et troisième (420) faisceaux monochromes, éclairant respectivement les second et troisième imageurs.
