ABSTRACT A tube transport system is proposed where,there are two pipelines connected by transfer monorails.The wheeled containers form at the end of the system some continuous strings of bumper to bumper configuration,pressed by the pressure forces from be- hind and launched one by one by the injector chains.The sys- tem has only 2 chains and the exit of each pipeline has not any restriction or chain, the containers being lined up and forming dead end configurations for braking the incoming contai- ners which are attached to the said bumper to bumper strings. The transfer from one tube to another is made by monorail in a suspended manner.Inside of the tube the containers are rolling on their main bottom wheels directly on the pipeline but outside the pipeline on the said monorail.
