Large value embedded inductors are made by screen printing an inductor coil (16) onto one or more ferrite tapes (14, 18), and covering the ferrite tapes with one or more ferrite tape layer or layers (14, 18). Low firing temperature green tapes (12, 20) surround the ferrite layer or layers (14, 18). These green tapes (12, 20) can be expansion matched to gallium arsenide.

L'invention concerne des inducteurs enfouis de grande valeur, fabriqués par impression sérigraphique d'une bobine d'induction sur un ou plusieurs rubans de ferrite, et par recouvrement desdits rubans de ferrite avec une ou plusieurs couches de rubans de ferrite. Des rubans verts cocuits à basse température entourent la ou les couches de ferrite. Ces rubans verts peuvent être appariés par expansion à l'arséniure de gallium.
