The invention relates to a laryngeal mask airway device (1) for insertion into a patient to provide an airway passage to the patient's glottic opening, the device (1) comprising an airway tube (2) a mask (3) attached to the airway tube (2), the mask (3) comprising a body (4) having a distal end (5) and a proximal end (6), a peripheral inflatable cuff (7), and defining an outlet (8) for gas, the mask (3) being attached to the airway tube (2) for gaseous communication between the tube (2) and the outlet (8), the device (1) further comprising an oesophageal drain (10), the drain (10) comprising a conduit extending from an inlet (12) at the distal end (5) to an outlet (13) disposed to the outside of the patient when the device (1) is in place, the conduit including a mask section (11) and an airway tube section (41), wherein the conduit mask section (11) is formed integrally in the material of the body (4).

L'invention concerne un appareil respiratoire pour masque laryngé (1) à insérer dans un patient afin de procurer un passage respiratoire dans l~ouverture glottique du patient. L'appareil (1) comprend un tube respiratoire (2), un masque (3) attaché au tube respiratoire (2), le masque (3) comprenant un corps (4) ayant une extrémité distale (5) et une extrémité proximale (6), un coussinet périphérique gonflable (7), et un orifice de sortie (8) pour les gaz. Le masque (3) est attaché au tube respiratoire (2) pour des échanges gazeux entre le tube (2) et l~orifice de sortie (8). L'appareil (1) comprend en outre un drain oesophagien (10).
