The invention relates to a laryngoscope blade and handle. According to the invention, the root of the blade (L) comprises a flexible hook (4a) and an elastically-flexible wall (4b) which is designed to tilt towards the hook when impinged by a dead stop (3) located on the handle of the laryngoscope, while the hook is engaged with a rod (2) in a cavity of the laryngoscope.
