PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Amplificateur laser comporte un milieu actif apte à recevoir un faisceau incident et un tube à décharge hélicoïdal pour exciter ce milieu actif en vue de réaliser l'amplification du faisceau incident. Ce tube à décharge dont le diamètre d'enroule- ment est voisin mais supérieur au diamètre du faisceau incident est disposé autour de ce dernier. L'amplificateur laser est carac- térisé par le fait qu'il comporte sur la périphérie dudit milieu actif une enceinte renfermant un corps apte à absorber les radia- tions parasites.
