ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This relates to an apparatus for cutting a workpiece with a heat energy such as laser radiation comprising: a first filter chamber in which a bucket and an air filter is provided beneath the working area, a second filter chamber communicating with the first filter chamber, said second filter chamber is provided with a liquid filter and is communicated with a vacuum pump, and means for introducing fumes into the liquid filter from the first filter chamber through the air filter.
