The invention relates to darkened thermoplastic molding materials and to shaped parts produced therefrom which, in the wavelength range of 700 to 1200 nm, are laser- transmitting at least in the spectral partial ranges, and which can be welded to laser-absorbing shaped parts by means of laser beam welding.
