The process is used to manufacture partitioned housings by executing attachments from the outside of the said housing. The process utilizes two consecutive shots from an inclined laser beam (8A, 8B), crossing at the upper surface (1B) of the piece (1) constituting the head of the assembly. The two laser welding trajectories (8A, 8B) cut two upper corners (2C) from the piece (2), to form the base of the T. The welding device is placed outside the housing, that is to say, on the side of the upper surface (1B) of the head (1) of the T. Application to manufacturing the arms of the external duct of a turbine engine.
