A laser diode module includes a laser diode, a lens located on an optical path of light emitted from the laser diode, and an optical fiber located to receive the emitted light concentrated by the lens. The optical fiber includes a fiber grating having a reflection center wavelength greater than the cutoff wavelength of the lager diode and having a half width of reflection spectrum ranging from twice the spacing of longitudinal modes of the laser diode to 10 nm.
