A laser head (1200) is adapted to irradiate an interaction region of an inhabitable structure with laser light to remove material from the structure. The laser head (1200) includes a housing (1230) and a connector (1210) coupled to the housing (1230) and optically coupled to a laser generator. The connector (1210) is adapted to transmit laser light from the laser generator. The laser head (1200) further includes a first optical element (1235) and a second optical element (1235') contained in the housing (1230). The second optical element (1235') is optically coupled to the first optical element (1235). The laser head (1200) further includes a containment plenum (240) coupled to the housing (1200). The containment plenum (240) is optically coupled to the second optical element (1235') to receive the laser light from the second optical element (1235'). The containment plenum (240) is adapted to confine the material and to remove the material from the interaction region resulting from irradiating the structure with the laser light.

L'invention concerne une tête laser (1200) conçue pour irradier une zone d'interaction d'une structure inhabitable au moyen d'une lumière laser, de sorte à extraire du matériau de ladite structure. La tête laser (1200) selon l'invention comprend un logement (1230) et un connecteur (1210) couplé audit logement (1230) et couplé optiquement à un générateur laser. Le connecteur (1210) est conçu pour émettre une lumière laser à partir du générateur laser. La tête laser (1200) comprend également un premier élément optique (1235) et un deuxième élément optique (1235') contenus dans le logement (1230). Le deuxième élément optique (1235') est couplé optiquement au premier élément optique (1235). La tête laser comprend également un plénum de retenue (240) couplé au logement (1200). Ledit plénum de retenue (240) est couplé optiquement au deuxième élément optique (1235'), de sorte à recevoir la lumière laser provenant du deuxième élément optique (1235'). Le plénum de retenue (240) est conçu pour retenir le matériau résultant de l'irradiation de la structure au moyen de la lumière laser, et pour retirer ledit matériau de la zone d'interaction.
