The invention relates to a laser marking method in which a laser beam is used for raster scanning of a liquid-crystal mask, on which a desired marking pattern is formed and the laser beam passing through the liquid-crystal mask gives a marking to an object. A marking pattern on the liquid-crystal mask is successively switched over to a subsequent marking pattern every scanning line, to reduce variation in transmissivity of the liquid-crystal mask, thereby obtaining marking with less unevenness of image.

Procédé de marquage au laser, selon lequel un faisceau laser est utilisé pour balayer en faisceau un masque de cristaux liquides. On forme sur ce masque le schéma de marquage souhaité, puis le passage du faisceau laser à travers ce masque de cristaux liquides produit un marquage sur un objet. Le schéma de marquage sur le masque de cristaux liquides est successivement converti en un schéma de marquage suivant à chaque ligne de balayage, de manière à atténuer la variation du facteur de transmission du masque de cristaux liquides, ce qui permet d'obtenir un marquage présentant moins d'irrégularités d'image.
